Al-Nesaa 16 of 24

We have revealed to you the Book in all Truth so that you judge among people by the laws of God. However, never defend the treacherous ones. 105 And beg thou forgiveness of Allah; verily Allah is ever Forgiving. 106 And do not plead on behalf of those who are dishonest to themselves. Surely God does not love one who is treacherous and sinful. 107 They try to hide from (men), but they cannot hide from God who is with them at night when they discuss such matters as He does not approve; but what they do is well within the compass of God. 108 Ha, there you are; you have disputed on their behalf in the present life; but who will dispute with God on their behalf on the Resurrection Day, or who will be a guardian for them? 109 And whosoever worketh an ill or wrongeth his own soul, and thereafter beggeth forgiveness of Allah shall find Allah Forgiving, Merciful. 110 Whosoever earns a sin, he only earns it against himself. Allah is the Knower, the Wise. 111 Whosoever earns a fault or a sin and casts it upon the innocent, indeed, he bears the slander and a clear sin. 112
