Al-Nesaa 16 of 24
Surely We have revealed the Book to you with the truth that you may judge between people by means of that which Allah has taught you; and be not an advocate on behalf of the treacherous. 105 Seek forgiveness from God. He is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 106 And do not plead on behalf of those who are dishonest to themselves. Surely God does not love one who is treacherous and sinful. 107 They try to hide from (men), but they cannot hide from God who is with them at night when they discuss such matters as He does not approve; but what they do is well within the compass of God. 108 You defend them in this life but who will defend them against God on the Day of Judgment and who will be their attorney? 109 He who does evil or acts against his own interests (by disbelieving), then prays for God's forgiveness, will find God compassionate and merciful. 110 And whosoever earnoth a sin, only against his own soul he earnoth it; and Allah is ever Knowing, Wise. 111 But he who commits a fault or a sin and then throws the blame therefore on an innocent person, burdens himself with the guilt of calumny and [yet another] flagrant sin. 112
