Surely, God will not forgive the ascribing of partners to Him. He forgives whoever He will for anything other than that. Whoever ascribes partners to God has strayed far indeed. 116 (The Pagans), leaving Him, call but upon female deities: They call but upon satan the persistent rebel! 117 upon whom Allah has laid His curse. He said (to Allah): 'I will take to myself an appointed portion of Your servants 118 and shall lead them astray, and fill them with vain desires; and I shall command them - and they will cut off the ears of cattle [in idolatrous sacrifice]; and I shall command them - and they will corrupt God's creation!" But all who take Satan rather than God for their master do indeed, most clearly, lose all: 119 he promises them and fills them with fancies, but what satan promises them is only a delusion. 120 For such, their habitation will be hell, and they will find no refuge therefrom. 121 Yet those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds We shall bring into gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time: this is, in truth, God's promise - and whose word could be truer than God's? 122 It is not by your fancies, nor by the fancies of the People of the Book. Whosoever does evil shall be recompensed for it, and he will not find for himself, other than Allah, a guardian or helper. 123 Any believer, male or female, who acts righteously, will enter Paradise and will not suffer the least bit of injustice. 124 Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Abraham the true in Faith? For Allah did take Abraham for a friend. 125 And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; and Allah encompasses all things. 126
