And Aaron indeed had told them beforehand: O my people! Ye are but being seduced therewith, for lo! your Lord is the Beneficent, so follow me and obey my order. 90 They replied: 'We will not stop; we will cling to it until Moses returns to us.' 91 Then Moses asked Aaron, "What made you not follow me when you saw them in error? 92 so that thou didst not follow after me? Didst thou then disobey my commandment?' 93 Answered [Aaron]: "O my mother's son! Seize me not by my beard, nor by my head! Behold, I was afraid lest [on thy return] thou say, 'Thou hast caused a split among the children of Israel, and hast paid no heed to my bidding!" 94 Said [Moses]: "What, then, didst thou have in view, O Samaritan?" 95 He replied: 'I saw what they did not see and seized a handful of dust from the foot print of the messenger and so I cast it; this my soul prompted me to do' 96 Musa (Moses) said: "Then go away! And verily, your (punishment) in this life will be that you will say: "Touch me not (i.e. you will live alone exiled away from mankind); and verily (for a future torment), you have a promise that will not fail. And look at your ilah (god), to which you have been devoted. We will certainly burn it, and scatter its particles in the sea." 97 Your God is none else than Allah, beside Whom there is no god. His knowledge embraces everything." 98 Thus We relate to you (O Muhammad SAW) some information of what happened before. And indeed We have given you from Us a Reminder (this Quran). 99 If any do turn away therefrom, verily they will bear a burden on the Day of judgment; 100 They will remain in it forever – what an evil burden it will be for them on the Day of Resurrection! 101 The Day when the Trumpet will be blown (the second blowing): that Day, We shall gather the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) Zurqa: (blue or blind eyed with black faces). 102 Whispering to one another: "You have tarried but ten days." 103 We know well what they will utter, whereas the wisest among them will say, “You have stayed just for a day.” 104
