The Key (Al-Faatehah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 and Master of the Day of Judgment 4 You alone we worship, and to You alone turn for help. 5 Guide us on the Straight Path. 6 The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
