(Muhammad), tell them to travel in the land and see what happened to those who rejected the Truth. 11 Ask them, "Who is the owner of the heavens and the earth besides God, the All-merciful, who will gather you all together on the Day of Judgment? That day will certainly come. Those who have lost their souls will not believe. 12 ۞ His is whatever is at rest in the night and in the day. He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 13 Say, “Shall I choose as a supporter someone other than Allah, Who is the Originator of the heavens and the earth and Who feeds and does not need to eat?” Say, “I have been ordered to be the first to submit myself (to Him), and O people, do not be of the polytheists.” 14 Say, "I will never disobey my Lord, for I fear the punishment of a dreadful Day." 15 Whosoever has been spared chastisement on that Day, Allah has bestowed His mercy upon him. That is the manifest triumph. 16 And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good - then He is over all things competent. 17 "He is the irresistible, (watching) from above over His worshippers; and He is the Wise, acquainted with all things." 18 Say: 'God is witness between me and you, and this Koran has been revealed to me that I may warn you thereby, and whomsoever it may reach. Do you indeed testify that there are other gods with God?' Say: 'I do not testify.' Say: 'He is only One God, and I am quit of that you associate.' 19 Those whom We have given the Book will recognize this just as they recognize their own ofspring; but those who have courted their own ruin will not believe. 20
