We shall gradually seize those who reject Our signs from a place they do not recognize. 182 I give them rein (for) lo! My scheme is strong. 183 Reflect they not that in their companion there is no madness! he is naught but a manifest warner. 184 Will they not ponder upon the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all that Allah created, and that it may be that their term is drawing near? So, in which speech will they believe thereafter? 185 Whomsoever Allah sendeth astray, no guide is then for him, and He letteth them wander perplexed in their exorbitance. 186 They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): "When will be its appointed time?" Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden." They ask you as if you have a good knowledge of it. Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (Alone) but most of mankind know not." 187 Say: For myself I have no power to benefit, nor power to hurt, save that which Allah willeth. Had I knowledge of the Unseen, I should have abundance of wealth, and adversity would not touch me. I am but a warner, and a bearer of good tidings unto folk who believe. 188
