▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10
Let not the deniers of the truth be deluded that they will gain any advantage. Surely, they, can never overcome Us! 59 And get ready against them whatsoever ye can of force and wellfed horses whereby ye may overawe the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom ye know not; Allah knoweth them. And whatsoever ye expend in the way of Allah shall be repaid to you in full; and ye shall not be wronged. 60 ۞ But if they incline to peace, you also incline to it, and (put your) trust in Allah. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 61 If they try to cheat you, God is surely sufficient for you. It is He who has strengthened you with His help and with believers 62 And (as for the believers) hath attuned their hearts. If thou hadst spent all that is in the earth thou couldst not have attuned their hearts, but Allah hath attuned them. Lo! He is Mighty, Wise. 63 O Prophet! God is sufficient for you and the believers who follow you. 64
