Believers, help yourselves (in your affairs) through patience and prayer; God is with those who have patience. 153 And say not of those who are slain in God's cause, "They are dead": nay, they are alive, but you perceive it not. 154 And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, 155 and in difficulty say, "We are the servants of God and to Him we shall all return". 156 These are the people upon whom are the blessings from their Lord, and mercy; and it is they who are on guidance. 157 ۞ Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs appointed by Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the House or pays a visit (to it), there is no blame on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneously, then surely Allah is Grateful, Knowing. 158 Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too). 159 Except those who repent and do reform and disclose (the truth) – so I will accept their repentance; and I only am the Most Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful. 160 Verily those who disbelieve, and die while they are infidels, these it is on whom shall be the curse of Allah and the angels and mankind all. 161 Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be given respite. 162 AND YOUR GOD is the One God: there is no deity save Him, the Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace. 163
