In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ AlifLaamRa. Those are the verses of the Book, the Clear Koran. 1 Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to Allah's will) in Islam. 2 Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them). 3 Never did We destroy a population that had not a term decreed and assigned beforehand. 4 no people can forestall their doom, nor can they delay it. 5 And they say: "O you (Muhammad SAW) to whom the Dhikr (the Quran) has been sent down! Verily, you are a mad man. 6 Why dost thou not bring the angels unto us, if thou speakest truly?' 7 We do not send down angels without reason, and if the angels descend they would not get any respite! 8 Lo! We, even We, reveal the Reminder, and lo! We verily are its Guardian. 9 AND, INDEED, [O Prophet,] even before thy time did We send [Our apostles] unto communities of old 10 No Messenger went to them whom they did not mock. 11 Even so do we let it creep into the hearts of the sinners - 12 They do not believe in it even though the practice of the ancients has already gone. 13 And even if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they were to continue ascending thereto, 14 They would certainly say: Only our eyes have been covered over, rather we are an enchanted people. 15

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
