▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
