Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
