And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
