Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
