Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
