Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
