The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray?" 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 "(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save (from destruction). 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
