Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60
