The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts – they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 when they entered unto him, saying, 'Peace!' He said, 'Behold, we are afraid of you.' 52 They (the angels) said: "Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom." 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
