When the messengers came to Lot and his family, 61 he said: "Surely you are an unknown folk." 62 They said: "Nay, we have brought to you that concerning which they have been in doubt. 63 And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful. 64 so leave with your family some time in the latter part of the night, and walk behind them. Let none of you look back. Go where you are commanded." 65 We communicated to him Our decree that the guilty ones would be destroyed by the morning. 66 The people of the city came to him rejoicing. 67 He said, “These are my guests do not dishonour me.” 68 Fear Allah and do not disgrace me' 69 They said, 'Have we not forbidden thee all beings?' 70 He said: "There are my daughters (to marry), if ye must act (so)." 71 By your life O dear Prophet (Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) they are indeed straying in their intoxication. 72 So As-Saihah (torment - awful cry, etc.) overtook them at the time of sunrise; 73 and We turned those [sinful towns] upside down, and rained down upon them stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained. 74 Surely! In this are signs, for those who see (or understand or learn the lessons from the Signs of Allah). 75 That town lies on a road which still exists. 76 Surely, in that there is a sign for those who believe. 77 And the Companions of the Wood were also wrong-doers; 78 So We took vengeance on them. And verily both are on a high-road open. 79

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
