And when the envoys came to the family of Lot, 61 he said: "Behold, you are people unknown [here]!" 62 They said: "Nay, we have come to you with that (torment) which they have been doubting. 63 And bring thee the Truth, and lo! we are truth-tellers. 64 So set out thou with thy house hold in a portion of the night, and follow thou their backs, and let not one of you look back, and pass whither ye are commanded. 65 And We decreed for him that commandment, that the last remnant of those should be cut off in the morning. 66 And the people of the city came [unto Lot,] rejoicing at the glad tiding. 67 He said, “These are my guests – do not dishonour me.” 68 Fear God and do not shame me." 69 They (people of the city) said: "Did we not forbid you to entertain (or protect) any of the 'Alamin (people, foreigners, strangers, etc. from us)?" 70 He said, 'These are my daughters, if you would be doing.' 71 Verily, by thy life (O Prophet), in their wild intoxication, they wander in distraction, to and fro. 72 and thereupon the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at sunrise. 73 and We turned those [sinful towns] upside down, and rained down upon them stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained. 74 Lo! therein verily are portents for those who read the signs. 75 And indeed that township is upon a road still in use. 76 Verily there is a Sign in this for the believers. 77 And indeed the Dwellers of the Woods were unjust. 78 and We took vengeance on them. The two of them were upon a roadway manifest. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
