And when the sent angels came to the house of Lut. 61 He said: "Verily! You are people unknown to me." 62 'No' they replied: 'We bring you (news) of that concerning which they were doubting. 63 “And we have brought to you a true command, and indeed we are truthful.” 64 Therefore go forth with your followers in a part of the night and yourself follow their rear, and let not any one of you turn round, and go forth whither you are commanded. 65 And We communicated to him the decree that by the morning those people will be totally destroyed. 66 And the people of the city came rejoicing. 67 rushed towards the house of Lot. Lot said to them, "These are my guests. Do not disgrace me. 68 Fear Allah and do not disgrace me' 69 They (people of the city) said: "Did we not forbid you to entertain (or protect) any of the 'Alamin (people, foreigners, strangers, etc. from us)?" 70 He said, "Here are my daughters, if you must act in this way." 71 By your life, (O Prophet), they went about blindly stumbling in their intoxication. 72 and the Cry seized them at the sunrise, 73 And We turned the city upside down, and rained on them stones of hardened lava. 74 Indeed in this are signs for people who perceive. 75 Indeed, it is on a way which still exists. 76 Most surely there is a sign in this for the believers. 77 And the dwellers of the wood surely were wrong-doers. 78 and We took vengeance on them. The two of them were upon a roadway manifest. 79
