And the dwellers of Al Hijr also belied the Messengers. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve dwellings in the hills, without fear. 82 and the Cry seized them in the morning; 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 We have indeed bestowed on you the seven oft-repeated verses and the Great Qur'an. 87 [so] turn, not thine eyes [longingly] towards the worldly benefits which We have granted unto some of those [that deny the truth]. And neither grieve over those [who refuse to heed thee,] but spread the wings of thy tenderness over the believers, 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators 90 who have broken the Koran into fragments. 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 concerning that they were doing. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 We suffice you against those who mock, 95 Who set up along with Allah another ilah (god), they will come to know. 96 We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99
