The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ God's command comes; so seek not to hasten it. Glory be to Him! High be He exalted above that they associate with Him! 1 He sends down the angels with the Spirit (Gabriel) by His command to those of His worshipers whom He chooses, (saying:) 'Warn, there is no god except Me, therefore fear Me' 2 He created the heavens and the earth in truth; high be He exalted above that they associate With Him! 3 Man He created from a drop of semen; and still he becomes an open contender. 4 And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing), and numerous benefits, and of them you eat. 5 And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture). 6 They carry your heavy loads to lands which you would not have been able to reach without great difficulty. Your Lord is certainly Compassionate and All-Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as a means of beauty. He has also created things that you do not know. 8 And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind). 9
