The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The command of Allah is arriving soon, therefore do not seek to hasten it; Purity and Supremacy are to Him, above all the partners (they ascribe). 1 He sendeth down the angels with the Spirit of His command unto whom He will of His bondmen, (saying): Warn mankind that there is no Allah save Me, so keep your duty unto Me. 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him). 3 He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer! 4 And the cattle He created for you. In them, you have warmth and other uses, and of them you eat. 5 And for you there is beauty in them as ye drive them at eventide and as ye drive them out to pasture. 6 They carry your heavy loads to lands which you would not have been able to reach without great difficulty. Your Lord is certainly Compassionate and All-Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as a means of beauty. He has also created things that you do not know. 8 God's it is to show the way; and some do swerve from it. If He willed, He would have guided you all together. 9
