The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. 1 He sendeth down the angels with the spirit by His command upon whomsoever of his bondmen He willeth: warn that there is no god but I, wherefore fear Me. 2 He created the heavens and the earth in truth; high be He exalted above that they associate With Him! 3 He created man from a small seed and lo! he is an open contender. 4 He has created cattle for you: from them you derive food and clothing and numerous other benefits; 5 And in them is your elegance, when you bring them home at evening, and when you leave them to graze. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful. 7 And [it is He who creates] horses and mules and asses for you to ride, as well as for [their] beauty: and He will yet create things of which [today] you have no knowledge. 8 And upon Allah is the direction of the [right] way, and among the various paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all. 9
