It is He who sends down water from the sky of which you drink, and which nourishes the plants you feed your cattle, 10 [and] by virtue thereof He causes crops to grow for you, and olive trees, and date palms, and grapes, and all [other] kinds of fruit: in this, behold, there is a message indeed for people who think! 11 He has made subject to you the Night and the Day; the sun and the moon; and the stars are in subjection by His Command: verily in this are Signs for men who are wise. 12 And what He has created in the earth of varied hues most surely there is a sign in this for a people who are mindful. 13 It is He who subjected to you the sea, so that you may eat its fresh seafood and bring forth from it ornaments to wear. You see the ships cleaving through it. All this, so that you may seek His bounty and feel grateful. 14 And He placed mountains as anchors in the earth so that it may not shake along with you, and streams and roads for you to find course. 15 And also landmarks; and by the stars they are guided. 16 Is He who creates as he who does not create? Will you not remember? 17 If you tried to count God's blessings, you would never be able to number them. God is ever forgiving and most merciful. 18 God knows all that you conceal and all that you reveal. 19 , As for those they call besides God, they cannot create a thing, and have themselves been created. 20 they are dead, not living. They do not even know when they will be resurrected. 21
