Al-nahl 7 of 16
۞ God says: "Do not take to two gods, for there is only one God. So fear Me." 51 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and (all that is in) the earth and Ad-Din Wasiba is His [(i.e. perpetual sincere obedience to Allah is obligatory). None has the right to be worshipped but Allah)]. Will you then fear any other than Allah? 52 And whatever favor is (bestowed) on you it is from Allah; then when evil afflicts you, to Him do you cry for aid. 53 And then, when He averts the misfortune from you, a group among you starts ascribing partners to their Lord! 54 So as to deny that which We have given them. Then enjoy life (while ye may), for ye will come to know. 55 They even appoint a share of what We have provided for them [to false gods] they know nothing of. You shall surely be questioned about the lies you have been fabricating. 56 And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire. 57 When good news of the birth of a female is given to any of them, his face grows dark and inwardly he chokes. 58 Skulking from the people because of the evil of that which hath been announced unto him: shall he keep it with ignominy or bury it in the dust? Lo! vile is that which they judge! 59 For those who believe not in the Hereafter is an evil description, and for Allah is the highest description. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
