Al-nahl 8 of 16

And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left upon the earth any creature, but He defers them for a specified term. And when their term has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]. 61 They ascribe to God that which even they themselves do not like and their lying tongues say that their end will be virtuous. Their share will certainly be hell fire to which they are earnestly heading. 62 By Allah, We (also) sent (Our messengers) to Peoples before thee; but Satan made, (to the wicked), their own acts seem alluring: He is also their patron today, but they shall have a most grievous penalty. 63 We have sent you the Book for no other reason than to settle their differences and to be a guide and mercy for those who believe. 64 God sends down water from the sky and with it revives the earth when it is dead. There is truly a sign in this for people who listen. 65
