And when We put a revelation in place of (another) revelation, - and Allah knoweth best what He revealeth - they say: Lo! thou art but inventing. Most of them know not. 101 Say thou: the Holy Spirit hath brought it down from thy Lord with truth, that it may establish those who believe, and as a guidance and glad tidings unto the Muslims. 102 And We know very well that they say, 'Only a mortal is teaching him.' The speech of him at whom they hint is barbarous; and this is speech Arabic, manifest. 103 (As for) those who do not believe in Allah's communications, surely Allah will not guide them, and they shall have a painful punishment. 104 Those who do not believe in the miracles of God invent lies and they are liars. 105 As for anyone who denies God after having once attained to faith - and this, to be sure, does not apply to one who does it under duress, the while his heart remains true to his faith, but [only, to] him who willingly opens up his heart to a denial of the truth: upon all such [falls] God's condemnation, and tremendous suffering awaits them: 106 that, because they have preferred the present life over the world to come, and that God guides not the people of the unbelievers. 107 These are they on whose hearts and their hearing and their eyes Allah has set a seal, and these are the heedless ones. 108 Assuredly in the Hereafter they are the losers. 109 ۞ Surely, your Lord will be forgiving and merciful towards those who migrated after persecution and strove hard for the cause of God and remained steadfast. 110
