BE CONSTANT in [thy] prayer from the time when the sun has passed its zenith till the darkness of night, and [be ever mindful of its] recitation at dawn: for, behold, the recitation [of prayer] at dawn is indeed witnessed [by all that is holy]. 78 And from [part of] the night, pray with it as additional [worship] for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station. 79 And pray: "O my Lord, let my entry be with honour, and let my exit be with honour, and grant me power from You which would help (sustain) me." 80 And say: Truth hath come and falsehood hath vanished away. Lo! falsehood is ever bound to vanish. 81 And We reveal of the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers, and it adds only to the perdition of the unjust. 82 Yet when We bestow Our favours on man, he turns away and becomes remote on his side (instead of coming to Us), and when evil seizes him he gives himself up to despair! 83 Say: 'Every man works according to his own manner; but your Lord knows very well what man is best guided as to the way.' 84
