And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 But when at last they came to the land where the two seas met, they forgot their fish and it swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 The servant said: "Did you see what happened? When we betook ourselves to the rock to take rest, I forgot the fish - and it is only Satan who caused me to forget to mention it to you - so that it made its way into the sea in a strange manner." 63 Musa said: that is that which we have been seeking. So they turned back upon their footsteps, retracing. 64 Then found they one of Our slaves, unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our presence. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He replied, "You will not be able to have patience with me. 67 And how can you have patience in that of which you have not got a comprehensive knowledge? 68 He (Moses) said: 'If Allah wills, you shall find me patient, I shall not disobey your order' 69 He said: If you would follow me, then do not question me about any thing until I myself speak to you about it 70
