And when Musa said to his servant: I will not cease until I reach the junction of the two rivers or I will go on for years. 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 Moses asked his young companion when they crossed this point, "Bring us our food; the journey has made us tired." 62 He replied, "Did you see when we were resting by the rock, that I forgot the fish? Satan made me forget it, so I did not mention it. It made its way to the sea in a miraculous way!" 63 He said: This is what we sought for; so they returned retracing their footsteps. 64 Then found they one of Our slaves, unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our presence. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He replied, "You will not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 For how can you patiently bear with something you cannot encompass in your knowledge?" 68 Said Moosa, “Allah willing, you will soon find me patient and I will not do anything against your instructions.” 69 He said, "Well then, if you would follow me, do not ask me about anything till I speak of it to you." 70
