Recall how Moses said to his servant, "I shall not give up until I reach the place where both seas meet, even if it takes me years!" 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 'This is what we have been seeking' said he, and they retraced their footsteps 64 Then they found one of Our slaves, unto whom We had bestowed mercy from Us, and whom We had taught knowledge from Us. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 He said: "You will not be able to bear with me. 67 And how can you have patience in that of which you have not got a comprehensive knowledge? 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70
