Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mountain, and drew him near in (Divine) conversation. 52 And, out of Our Mercy, We gave him his brother Aaron, (also) a prophet. 53 And recite in the Book the account of Ishmael. He was ever true to his promise, and was a Messenger, a Prophet. 54 He would order his people to worship God and pay the religious tax. His Lord was pleased with him. 55 Also mention in the Book the case of Idris: He was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) a prophet: 56 We raised him to a high position. 57 These are the ones whom God has favoured: the prophets from among the descendants of Adam and of those whom We carried in the Ark with Noah; the descendants of Abraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chosen. For when the revelations of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Yet they were succeeded by generations [of people] who lost all [thought of] prayer and followed [but] their own lusts; and these will, in time, meet with utter disillusion. 59 but those among them who repent and become righteously striving believers will be admitted to the gardens without experiencing any injustice. 60 Gardens of Eden, which the Beneficent hath promised to His slaves in the unseen. Lo! His promise is ever sure of fulfilment - 61 They will not hear any lewd talk in it, but only Peace; and in it for them is sustenance, every morning and evening. 62 Such are the gardens which We will give to Our God-fearing servants as their inherited property. 63 And we do not descend but by the command of your Lord; to Him belongs whatever is before us and whatever is behind us and whatever is between these, and your Lord is not forgetful. 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth and of all that is between the two. So worship Him alone and be steadfast in His worship. Do you know of anyone equal to Him in His attributes? 65
