AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Moses. Behold, he was a chosen one, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the mount and made him draw near to be in close communion with Us; 52 And We bestowed on him, out of Our mercy, his brother Harun, a prophet. 53 Commemorate Ishmael in the Book. He was true of his promise, and a messenger, a prophet. 54 And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing. 55 Also mention in the Book the case of Idris: He was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) a prophet: 56 And We lifted him to a high position. (Living with soul & body in heaven, after his death.) 57 These are the Prophets upon whom Allah bestowed His favour from the seed of Adam, and from the seed of those whom We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and from the seed of Abraham and Israel. They were those whom We guided and chose (for an exalted position). They were such that when the words of the Most Compassionate Lord were recited to them, they fell down in prostration, weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Now there hath succeeded them a later generation whom have ruined worship and have followed lusts. But they will meet deception. 59 Excepting those who may repent and believe and work righteously; these shall enter the Garden and shall not be wronged at all 60 The gardens of perpetuity which the Beneficent Allah has promised to His servants while unseen; surely His promise shall come to pass. 61 They will not hear therein anything vain, only greetings of peace. They will receive their provision there morning and evening. 62 Such are the gardens which We will give to Our God-fearing servants as their inherited property. 63 (Muhammad), we (the angels) do not come to you without being commanded by your Lord to do so. To Him belongs all that is before us, behind us, and in between. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Worship, then, Him alone, and remain steadfast in His worship! Dost thou know any whose name is worthy to be mentioned side by side with His?" 65
