And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils – all of them – and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees. 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
