The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he the knowledge of the unseen or has the Beneficent God established such a binding agreement with Him? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
