The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 Moreover, We well know those who most deserve to be burned in hell. 70 Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 and We shall inherit from him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
