Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 and thereupon We shall, indeed, draw forth from every group [of sinners] the ones that had been most determined in their disdainful rebellion against the Most Gracious: 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 Then We shall deliver those who have feared, and shall have the wrong-doers therein kneeling. 72 And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?" 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Have you, then, seen him who disbelieves in Our communications and says: I shall certainly be given wealth and children? 77 Has he obtained knowledge of the Unseen, or has he taken a covenant with the Most Compassionate Lord? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 No! Those "gods" will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]. 82
