Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. 71 Then We shall deliver those that feared Allah and leave the wrong-doers there on their knees. 72 When Our revelations are recited to them, the unbelievers say to the faithful ones, "Which of us is more prosperous?" 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 (Muhammad), tell them, "The Beneficent God gives respite to those who have gone astray only until they face the torment with which they were threatened or to the Day of Judgment. Then they will find out who will have the most miserable place and the weakest forces. 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
