ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
