Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
