Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
