ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
