Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
