Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
