(Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand me my breast; 25 and make my task easy for me, 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 That they may understand my speech, 28 And give me as assistant from my family 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him, 31 And associate him in my affair. 32 so that [together] we might abundantly extol Thy limitless glory 33 and remember you often. 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 And We had already conferred favor upon you another time, 37 when We inspired thy mother with this inspiration: 38 "'Throw (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 But speak unto him in a mild manner, so that he might bethink himself or [at least] be filled with apprehension. 44 They both said, "Our Lord, We fear that he may commit some excess against us, or exceed all bounds in transgression." 45 'Fear not,' said He. 'Surely I shall be with you, hearing and seeing. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 Moses replied, "Our Lord is He who has given everything its form, then guided it." 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,- 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
