Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 Loosen the knot in my tongue, 27 that they may understand my words. 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Harun, my brother. 30 "Increase my strength with him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 and remember Thee without cease! 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 The Lord said, "Moses, your request is granted. 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 "'Throw (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 But speak unto him in a mild manner, so that he might bethink himself or [at least] be filled with apprehension. 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 Go to him and say, 'We are both messengers from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have brought you a Sign from your Lord, and may peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance; 47 Verily we! it hath been revealed unto us that the torment will be for him who belieth and turneth away. 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 (Moses) said: "Our Lord is He who gave everything its natural form and directed it." 50 Pharaoh asked: "Then, what is the state of the former generations?" 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
