Tell them, (O Muhammad): "Who protects you, during the night or the day from the Most Compassionate Lord?" And yet they turn away from the Admonition of their Lord. 42 Can their gods protect them against Us? Their gods have no power even to help themselves, nor are they safe from Our retribution. 43 But, [on the contrary], We have provided good things for these [disbelievers] and their fathers until life was prolonged for them. Then do they not see that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders? So it is they who will overcome? 44 Say: 'I warn you only by the Revelation'; but they that are deaf do not hear the call when they are warned. 45 If but a breath of the Wrath of thy Lord do touch them, they will then say, "Woe to us! we did wrong indeed!" 46 We shall set up just scales on the Day of Resurrection so that none will be wronged in the least. (We shall bring forth the acts of everyone), even if it be the weight of a grain of mustard seed. We shall suffice as Reckoners. 47 We gave Moses and Aaron the criterion of right and wrong and a light and reminder for the righteous, 48 Who are fearful of their Lord inwardly and dread the Hour. 49 And this is a blessed Remembrance that We have sent down; so are you now denying it? 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
